Cupid Comes to Little Valentine

(2025)
(The first book in the Venturesome Ladies of Little Valentine series)
A novel by

Sylvester Cavendish, the Earl of Beaumarsh, is idle, vain, and utterly unsuited to the sleepy seaside town of Little Valentine. He’s only there because his loyal valet, Kirby, has whisked him away after a failed attempt on Beau’s life—an attempt orchestrated by his own cousin, Cuthbert, who is impatient to inherit the earldom. Little Valentine, beloved by retirees and the elderly for its tranquil waters, is the last place Beau would ever choose for refuge.

Still suffering from his cousin’s poison, Beau’s arrival is anything but discreet. He makes a memorable entrance by being sick on the shoes of Miss Clementine Honeywell, the capable and quick-witted daughter of the local vicar.

Clementine is unimpressed by the notorious earl’s reputation—and even less impressed by his refusal to confront his murderous cousin. Frustrated by Beau’s indolence, Clementine takes matters into her own hands, determined to vanquish the villain herself.

But as she faces danger head-on, Clementine discovers there’s more to Beau than meets the eye—and perhaps, beneath his idle exterior, a heart worth saving.
