Sometimes, the best way to make money is murder, a fact that Ethan Marston is quickly reminded of when his old friend, Admiral Farr, contacts him. One of the Admiral's wealthy older friends has died under seemingly normal circumstances... save for the fact all his inheritance is going to a young college kid the Admiral never met. To Marston and Holm, it stinks of foul play, but there's no clear evidence, no witnesses coming forward, no clear path ahead.
Now, complicate this seemingly unsolvable crime with the ongoing attack on MBLIS Miami by mysterious forces, and this may be the first case that Ethan doesn't walk away from alive.
