The Allies are coming back.
May 1945. Germany still dominates continental Europe, but the tide of the war is beginning to shift. After years of defeat, retreat, and desperate survival, the Western Allies are finally ready to strike back. An enormous invasion fleet appears off the coast of Morocco, carrying American, British, and French armies toward the beaches. Their objective is Casablanca, but their true destination lies far beyond North Africa.
As Allied troops storm ashore at Fedala, Mehdia, and Safi near Casablanca, the German war machine races to respond. Field Marshal Albert Kesselring prepares to turn the Atlas Mountains into a killing ground, while Hitler releases fresh armies and the Luftwaffe throws its strength into the battle. The Allies have returned, but breaking back into Hitler's empire will come at a terrible price. Yet an even greater confrontation is taking shape.
In the east, Stalin, who has made peace with the Allies nine months after the twin Axis failures in the Invasions of the UK and Japan, rebuilds the Red Army while Germany prepares for a war that could engulf the continent. German rockets rain destruction upon Britain, while more ‘Wunderwaffe’ secret weapons move closer to reality, threatening to give the edge to the Reich once more. And thousands of miles away, in the New Mexico desert, the Americans are about to unleash something that will change warfare forever, and perhaps put a complete end to it.
