Ellie Raber is excited about the upcoming Christmas season. There is going to be so much to be happy about, especially because her daed is going to remarry. After her mamm died, she stepped up to help her daed care for her younger siblings, Elizabeth and Levi. Seeing her daed happy again is all she ever wanted.
The wedding is not without its challenges, though. Anne, the woman her daed is marrying, wants her to take some time for herself now that there is another woman to help around the haus. She does, and a young mann by the name of Joseph Yoder starts to show interest in her. However, a mysterious Englischer named Stephen Stanbridge catches Ellie’s attention.
As the wedding draws closer, Ellie must make a choice: does she pursue the relationship with the Amish mann who seems to have a grudge against her liking the Englisher, or does she give the Englischer a chance and see where it leads?
