A Replaceable Asset

(2026)
(The third book in the Isaac Jackson series)
A novel by

When former HM Customs operative Isaac Jackson is asked by a friend to dissuade their young nephew, Marcus, away from involvement with a dangerous county lines drug, gang, he willingly agrees.
The gang, led locally by an Albanian criminal and linked via an agent to China, is involved not merely in running drugs but in the manipulation of voting figures in the UK by moving money to agents of influence. If successful they could dramatically undermine the political balance across the country.
Jackson’s first task is to find out more about the organisation, which is notoriously protective about its operations. Fortunately, his former Royal Military Police commander, Major Neville Beckley, now in a special department of the Home Office, also has orders to bring the organisation down, and introduces his colleague, DC Amy Rich to assist.
But the gang is watchful, and soon discovers someone is taking a close interest in its activities.
Not long afterwards, a dead body turns up.
