(A book in the Vlasov Bratva series)
A Novella by

This is a short story to introduce the characters of the Midwest Underworld and the Vlasov Bratva. It is short, spicy, and mind the cliff. Events are set approx. 8 weeks before Vengeful Dreams.

Ilya

I’m not the top dog in the criminal organization pecking order. But in Club MØ, I’m the king. My nights are spent surveying this kingdom, a small slice of the corrupt, law-ignoring underworld in Chicago. The atmosphere brings in the crowds, and the price of their entertainment washes the dirty money for the Vlasov Bratva—the organization to which I’ve belonged since the heir apparent pulled me off the streets and made me his friend when we were just kids. When duty calls, I serve the crew in other capacities, ever ready for a fight.

But I prefer to run the clubs, especially Club MØ. This has always been my favorite of the Vlasov owned venues.

Now more so than ever.

Beauty is her name. She sips bottled water and once a week, we share a look. Time after time, history repeats.

Well, I’m done with looking. I leave my throne and capture her, stealing her back into the shadows where she give me everything. But then the little mystery leaves without a name, only a promise to return.

Broken Promise is a short story in the Vlasov Bratva series. It is the prequel to Vengeful Dreams, and while it introduces characters in the series, it does not contain spoilers for the rest of the series. As a short story, this ends in a cliffhanger. Will Ilya ever obtain his Happily Ever After? Or will the necklace be the only piece left of this tale?

A darker romance, this contains material that might not be suitable for all audiences.

Genre: Romantic Suspense
