Claude McKay was a pre-eminent figure in the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s. This new edition of "My Green Hills of Jamaica", McKay's last sustained piece of work, includes a previously unpublished chapter, the manuscript of which bears the title "Personal notes on the history of Jamaica".
