Ungloks don't kill their own, or do they? Sheriff Fry and Deputy Mast Jotham are forced into the underbelly of Darklanding, into a world they didn't know existed. Surprises are nonstop when they find out who else knows. A frontier world. One Sheriff. And all the action one spaceport can't hold.
The Shadow Economy exists everywhere there are humans. Along with prosperity comes power or the power first, then prosperity. Some Ungloks have embraced the ShadEcon, even though they aren't good at operating within its unwritten laws. Darkness threatens the fragile peace between Ungwilook's natives and the Company workers.
