In 2022, UK publisher Sapere Books offered me a three-book publishing contract, after I had entered a writing competition it had organised. The genre of the books was to be historical fiction focused on the RAF in World War Two. As someone with an interest in aviation, I was pleased to write on that topic.

The John Noble Fighter Ace thriller series followed. In that series, readers can follow John's trials and tribulations, both in the air and on the ground, during Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain, the fall of Singapore, and then in the European theatre as D-day approaches.

I have had a career advising and directing various aviation organisations, and I enjoyed researching and writing the stories contained in the three novels.

My first fiction work was The Syrian Terrorist, which I wrote in 2016. A second edition of that book was published in June 2018, but today The Syrian Terrorist is no longer being published, so neither new print nor digital versions are available. However, I see that some sellers are advertising second-hand paperback copies.
