I love this series, and this is the most exciting book yet. I have been reading them in order, following the development of the various characters (though each book will stand on its own). In this book a new organization has a firm grip on crime in the city. Pharaoh has some ideas about who might be behind it and is seeking answers. Sgt. McAvoy's wife is still being hidden from the organization. Though McAvoy has almost recovered from injuries suffered, he is still not back at work. And he has no idea where his wife and baby might be. Pharaoh is the only one who knows, the only on able to keep her safe, and she must stay on her toes, moving her each time the crime organization discovers where she is. A real page turner -- and discoveries about some of the characters will astonish you.
