No Bones About It

(1998)
(The fourth book in the Ginger Barnes Main Line series)
A novel by

When Philadelphia diet doctor Karl Vogel is found with his throat ripped open, his ex-wife Linda is arrested and accused of training their prize German shepherd to be a killer. Linda begs her old schoolmate Ginger Barnes to prove the dog's innocence and hers. The amateur detective winds her way through a long, hot Philadelphia summer and the world of dog training, maintaining her equanimity as the mother of two teenagers. Ginger is a thoroughly delightful character, and this book is a good addition to the author's Main Line series.
