After the death of their son, Isabella Wynford and her husband, Aristotle, had drifted apart. She had hoped the trip to England would bring them together once more. Instead, Ari blythely announces that he'll be seeking a divorce once they're home again. It's as he stolls away from her, oblivious to the pain he's inflicted with his rejection, that Isabella here's voices, voices that seem to be calling to her. A child cries out, "Mama!" "Bella, come to me!" commands a deep voice from far away.

Almost at once, lightening flashes from the brewing storm around them on the ancient battlefield and strikes the ground virtually at her feet. A black chasm opens, sucking her down.

Rating: The hero in this medieval time-travel has been depicted as true to his time and station in life as King Edward III's man.
