But Norm has been brainwashed into becoming the Overlord's second-in-command, and with every passing minute, the District grows stronger while our heroes grow weaker.
After what happened in Chicago and the events that later transpire at one of the District's gas drilling operations, the Overlord sends out his best soldiers - the Black Knights - after Jack and company. Because the Overlord wants them judged - a fate, Jack learns, much worse than death.
