BLURB

Ancient evil reaches into our modern world. The tense battle between good and evil becomes a thrilling race not only to save lives locally, but also threatens to endanger the whole of the human world.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS.

When Laura Craig ends her business, and briefly romantic, partnership with Brian Tanner there seems little real danger in the threats he issues against her. Neither knows that both their lives are about to be contaminated by an ancient evil. An evil that began centuries before but has its catalyst in North Africa after the Second World War when William Charteris, head of a titled family from England, fathers a child by a local Arab girl. The girl, and the resulting son, is Verani, an ancient race of creatures who need humans to feed from and to perpetuate their noble species.

As Tanner pursues Laura the true horrors of the threats he poses became increasingly apparent. Laura, and those close to her, has to fight the Verani. Not only are their own lives at stake, but also, no less, is the future of the human race.
