Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Alliance

As all of Minneapolis prepares for President McKinley's 1899 visit, St. Paul saloonkeeper and wannabe sleuth Shadwell Rafferty is drawn across the river to investigate the murder of a union activist found tied to a tree outside a ruined mansion, with an ominous placard about his neck. Was the murder the work of union busters? Was the victim linked to rumors of corruption surrounding the city's notorious mayor? It's a good thing Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson are on the way, because Rafferty's first case looks like it's going to be a killer to solve....
