(2027)(The third book in the Wren & Wilson series)
A novel by Maria Malone
Police Sergeant Ali Wren doesn't like the look on the face of the farmer pulling a truckload of manure outside the small town of Heft.
When she finds the load's been dumped on a house next to the small shops on Heft's idyllic High Street, the mystery deepens.
But her springer spaniel Police Dog Wilson's discovery of bones on a nearby estate, formerly a maternity hospital, means a bigger investigation.
All Ali's knowledge of her community – and Wilson's skills – will be needed to solve this one.
