(2023)
A novel by

Montana rancher, Chase Evings, spearheads a campaign to save America's wild horses. In a gross miscarriage of justice, federal protection for wild horses is abolished. Horses are rounded up at an alarming rate. Kill buyers frequent auctions, the first link in the slaughter pipeline. Chase purchases an abandoned ranch that borders his property and establishes a wild horse sanctuary and rescue. Along with his teenage son, Sean, and close friend, Clay Roberts, Chase fights to stop the carnage. The Sean Evings Foundation for the Welfare and Preservation of Wild Horses is founded. During a highly successful rally in Salt Lake City, the stark truth is revealed when Clay shows a horrifying video depicting the rescue of wild horses headed for slaughter. Chase, Sean, and Clay unite and make a pact to fight until horses, both wild and domestic, run safe and free.
