(1982)
(Book 38 in the Sundance series)
A novel by

Apache chief Geronimo was released from a Florida prison camp on the condition that he must become a farmer in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma. The problem was getting the hated chief there alive. General George Crook handed the mission to Sundance. Sundance and Geronimo set out on a journey destined for blood. The vicious Indian Ring trailed them across the Gulf of Mexio and all the way to Oklahoma, keeping Sundance's Winchester smoking hot. Then Geronimo escaped -- and Sundance was stranded in a shack surrounded by gunfire with nothing but a five-shot revolver and a big-mouthed woman!
