I'll admit, watching the island's biggest jerks get put on "mute" has its entertainment value. But as tempting as it might be to leave the spell in place, stripping people of their free will is still a magical no-go...especially when nobody knows who's casting it or why.
Between a killer who's counting on everyone to look in the wrong direction and a mysterious enchantment that's turning hateful words into awkward silence, I'll need every ounce of magic—and more than a little luck—to save Dax from the Magical Council and give even the rudest people back their voices.
