A Novella by

An off-beat crime story packed with clever crooks, danger, deception, and quite a few fish.

"Carla Norton's writing sizzles. With her snappy dialogue, sly plot, and quirky killers, she's Elmore Leonard in red stilettos."
Chips O'Toole

THE elaborate funeral of murdered crime boss "Big Mike" Montalvo cleaned out florist shops in three states. His nephew and heir apparent, Franco Montalvo, handled all the arrangements, greeted all the guests, and paid for the whole affair. As soon as his uncle was laid to rest, Franco called in Big Mike's most loyal foot soldiers, a mismatched pair of brains and brawn named Amelio and Aldo, known as "the A Team."
"I've got a lead on Big Mike's killer," Franco told them. "You're going to Arizona."
The A Team specialized in wet work (and if you don't know what that is, you probably don't have to worry about them coming after you).
