Two teens vs the world.
The year is 2057 and the US and China are both gearing up their orbital fleets for Mars-Rumble − Round 2.
The US won the first war… barely, and now they’re rushing waves of colonists out to the Red Planet to secure their foothold. Except the Chinese still have plenty of railguns and no intention of sitting back while they lose the new new world.
When Devon and Melissa survive the launch into orbit, both teens assume the dangerous part of their Mars trip is over. Right until they stumble onto a Chinese conspiracy to cripple Medea Station and are almost vacuumed into outer space. They only escape thanks to Kristina, a cryptic CIA agent who’s hopefully joking about shooting them. Unfortunately, now that they owe her, Kristina has plans for them and they will be helping, whether they want to or not.
Kristina claims she’s trying to save the station, but when the two follow her and find themselves searching through a dead soldier’s clothes for clues while trying to ignore the corpse across the room… well, it’s hard not to wonder.
And while Devon and Melissa are trying to riddle out whose side Kristina is really on, there’s still an invasion coming. China wants Medea Station, and if they have to kill everyone onboard to get it – not a problem. The two teens are about to discover that there may only be one way onto Medea Station, but there are a thousand ways off.
Starbound is an action packed Space Adventure.
