Jane keeps hearing whispers of prophecy, and how she might be involved. The crescent birthmark at the bottom of her back certainly indicates she is one of the chosen girls, but Jane hasn’t got time for prophecy, she’s got something bigger on her mind: vengeance.

Her family dead, her home burned, and her life left in tatters, the only thing she wants is to end the life of the vampire mobster that kept her as a magical prisoner for so many years. As it happens he knows just how powerful Jane is, and he’s put a seven-figure bounty on her head, hoping that someone else will kill her before she gets to him.

Enter Ezekiel. A curious vampire that seems to fight on either side, depending on the highest bidder, when Zeke comes after Jane, he’s surprised to find himself giving up a bounty for the first time in his life. One look at the feisty redhead and his whole world his turned upside down.

When his target is mortally wounded Zeke is left with a choice: deliver her body and collect the bounty, or save her life and make her his thrall, creating an impossibly strong blood bond that cannot be broken.

Here goes nothing.

The odd pair very quickly find themselves lost in a chaotic battle of good versus evil. With an ancient and terrible power back on its feet the pair have no choice but to join the fight and try to stop the great and powerful darkness that wants to consume the world.

Will Zeke turn on her?
Will Jane get her vengeance?
Is the prophecy really doomed to fail?

Only one way to find out.
