Would you go head to head with a cursed skull to save your life?
That’s the option dumped into my lap when I luck out and get screamed at by an evil skull. So what you may ask? I get screamed at every day by my toddler wanting candy. But I ask you this: does his scream curse you to a painful death in seven days’ time?
Thought not. I win.
I’m Storm Winter, private investigator, with a reputation for taking no prisoners and demanding the answers to questions others won’t ask. My clients may be terrified of me, but I get them results. So long as they pay me.
Do I love my work? No. Does it give me access to a heap of well-connected, underground contacts who help me search for my missing sister? Yes. That’s why I do it. The side cases pay the bills, so I can keep looking for Eden. She’s out there somewhere. I just know it.
Back to the case in hand. I have seven days to figure out who used an ancient cursed skull to murder billionaire jinn, Delano Discord, or I’m dead, too.

They’re all suspects, none of them have alibis, and I have a life-changing motivation to solve this case.
