A sequal to "The Road Through the Hills", this story tells of Hamish and Janet MacNeil who live in a Scottish Glen, and who befriend an old hermit lady. Christine Pullein-Thompson was co-writer, with her two sisters, Josephine and Diana, of "Black Beauty's Family",
