Luna of Kyun

(2021)
(The second book in the Luna series)
A novel by

Luna Meadows spent her entire childhood hiking around the world with her father, and learning how to hide a number of unusual abilities she was born with. And wishing she had answers to an ever growing list of questions that her father refused to answer.
Why couldn’t they stop wandering and live in a house? Why couldn’t she go to school with other kids? Why was she so different, and why did she have to hide those differences?
When her father dies in an accident just as she turns eighteen, she begins searching for the answers he’d promised to leave for her. More than six and a half years later, after finding the man…er…alien of her dreams (then losing him and finding him again) she finally finds the answers her father left behind. And they leave her reeling.
Now she has new questions. Who is her mother? What’s her name? Where is she? Why did she leave her with her father? Why didn’t she return when she said she would?
She has some decisions to make too. Does she stay on Earth and live out her life alone in her little house in the forest? Does she follow Raj, her alien soul mate who, by the way, happens to be a prince, back to his world? Or does she take him up on his offer to strike out on their own, find some quiet little planet and live out their lives in peace?
Living alone for the remainder of her life holds no interest for Luna, so she kicks that choice to the curb without much thought. Spending her life with Raj in peaceful solitude sounds pretty good, but it would only be the two of them, and she’s been there and done that.
Going home to Kyun with him seems like a no-brainer. Until he starts to explain what that would mean. How can a girl who grew up in a tent, who’d never worn a dress in her life, and didn’t know the first thing about royalty, become a princess on a world she knows nothing about?
The idea was terrifying enough that she was seriously reconsidering the option of living on some isolated world with just the two of them. Until she realized that he’d have to turn his back on his heritage, his people, and his only remaining family. He’s willing to give up everything for her. The least she can do is try to return the favor.
Besides, how hard could it be to live in a palace and have people call you princess?
As it turns out, not hard at all. It is, however, dangerous. And yet, flying knives, would-be assassins, poisoning, a bullet or two, and the occasional human hater aside, she has no regrets. So far.
“Luna of Kyun” is the 240,000 word second installment of LUNA, the newest romance-fantasy-adventure from Laura Jo Phillips. It has the passion, the mystery, the excitement, the consuming emotion, and the burn-the-bed-to-smoking-cinders eroticism that her fans know they are going to find in Laura Jo’s writing, but with the added depth that comes from a focus on a single couple.
New readers; please note that this book is not a stand-alone. There are many references to events in the first book, Luna of Earth, that will not make sense without reading it first.

Genre: Paranormal Romance
