The reason Evan and Cheney have fled so far south of Wyoming, to a Navajo reservation, is that they are carrying 5500 dollars in money belts, and the former owners are in full pursuit. The odd thing is that the pursuers are notorious outlaws while Evan and Cheney are deputy US marshals.
