Molly Parkin

Wales (b.1932)

Molly Parkin was born in Pontycymer, Garw Valley, south Wales. After Art College, she worked as a teacher, artist, author, journalist (Fashion Editor of Nova, Harpers & Queens and The Sunday Times; agony aunt for TV Quick), broadcaster and TV personality. She has had a raffish romantic career with two ex-husbands, nine ex-fiancés and a galaxy of glorious lovers, plus two daughters, three stepsons and four grandchildren. This has been rewarding research for her ten novels, one volume of verse, one cookery book, one compilation of journalism and one autobiography (so far!). She has recently returned to her first obsession - painting.
