Meet Stanley Ipkiss: a bright, friendly, mild-mannered account executive for the Edge City Bank. He's just your average Mr. Nice Guy - until he happens upon a strange mask down by the river. Slipping it on just for the heck of it, he is instantly transformed into a leering, wisecracking, green-faced prankster whose only limits are Stanley's overactive imagination. With his new profound powers, Stanley knows he could become a superhero, fighting crime, working for world peace, and all the usual stuff. But there are a few private fantasies he'd like to live out first - and a few personal scores to settle.
