This mountain town tradition is more naughty than nice...It’s Christmas Eve, and Sadie Moose and pals have gathered at a luxury ski resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a holiday getaway. Their goal: to party with their friend Kamari before she leaves to dominate the Freeride World Tour…and cheer her on during the Santa Drop from the Tram event at the resort.

But the festive cheer takes an unexpected detour when protesters descend upon the event, creating chaos on the slopes. Amidst the snowflakes and twinkling lights, the holiday spirit is shattered as Sadie finds herself entangled in a chilling mystery—the murder of a popular ski patroller.

Determined to save their holiday, Sadie embarks on a gauntlet of reindeer games to track the real culprit. As the suspects pile up faster than snowdrifts, Sadie and her friends navigate treacherous slopes of deception and danger. Can Sadie solve the mystery in time to rock around the Christmas tree with her friends, or will this holiday be irremediably blue?

Santa Drop Murder is a not-so-cozy mystery and includes mature language alongside the cozy setting, quirky characters, and mystery we all love in cozy mysteries. It's the sixth in the Jackson Hole Moose's Bakery Not So Cozy Mystery series. The books stand alone, but are better when read in order, especially this one.
