Cursed by mistake?
A thousand years ago, a landlocked witch cursed Sven and his twin brother. Although she blamed Magnus for her troubles, Sven got zapped too because he wanted to help his brother.
Would he do it again?
Yep.
All because he loves fiercely. So much so, his curse was almost broken a century ago when he fell in love with a bootlegger’s daughter. And she loved him right back. He prepped for mortality, but on the night she was going to run away with him, she vanished, leaving him brokenhearted.
When his twin’s main squeeze, the maid at their successful dead-and-breakfast, reveals Sven’s missing love is at their home and also cursed, he has hope again. There are two problems, though.
One, he can’t see her because she’s sort of undead too.
Two, she doesn’t remember him.
After a wonky seance zaps him, he suddenly he can see dead people.
Including her.
Can Sven convince his cursed revenant true love to give him a chance again? Can a love between two cursed spectres actually save them both, or is he doomed to immortality knowing the woman he once loved doesn’t remember him? It takes ghosting to a whole other level.
Warning: this book contains more meddling ghosts, including one who is nude a lot of the time, enchanted appliances, a wonky seance, reunion romance, amnesia trope, and true love which really does conquer all.
Though they once lived in secret, ‘monsters’ have inhabited the earth as long as humans have walked the earth. As technology advanced by leaps and bounds, the ability to remain hidden dwindled. Earth’s non-human creatures faced a choice: allow themselves to be discovered, or step forward and introduce themselves. Either option could have ended badly for monsters and humans alikeand in some places, it did.
But not in Harmony Glen.
After The Great Revelation, Harmony Glen welcomed monsters with open arms. This small town in Upstate New York is now home to humans and non-humans! Integration has been so successful in Harmony Glen, the town even changed its motto to ‘Come for the harmony, stay for the happily ever after.’
Welcome to Harmony Glen. We know you’re going to love it here.
