DCI Lomond Complete Collection
(2025)(A book in the DCI Lomond series)
An omnibus of novels by Andrew Raymond
Shot through with dark Glaswegian humour and thrilling twists, Andrew Raymond captures the voices of his beloved home city, taking you into its hidden depths, and the iconic hills and glens of nearby Loch Lomond and Arran.
The Bonnie Dead – Five years ago, DCI John Lomond led the search for notorious Glasgow child-killer ‘The Sandman’, until personal tragedy forced him off the case. In Lomond’s absence, the case went cold. When a child is abducted in similar Sandman fashion from an affluent Glasgow suburb, Lomond is brought back in to find them before it’s too late.
The Shortlist – When legendary crime novelist William MacRae is found murdered at his Glasgow home, Police Scotland’s premier investigator DCI John Lomond is put on the case. He compiles a shortlist of suspects, including seven bestselling crime authors. But a vicious storm is closing in. And not everyone, it seems, has fond memories of MacRae. Or each other.
The Bloody, Bloody Banks – The dismembered body of a notorious banker washes up on the beach at Luss with a sinister message carved into the dead man’s forehead. DCI Lomond recognises it. The same message has just been found on a tortured lawyer in Gullane on the east coast…
Cold Open– Reopening a twenty-year-old cold case after remains are found at the construction site of the new Govan-Partick Bridge throws DCI Lomond into memories of his earliest days as a detective. And when his former boss presents him with a controversial theory, Lomond starts to think that this was no isolated case. It is only the first piece of evidence in an extraordinary cover-up.
Genre: Mystery
