Welcome back to the windswept shores of Crumcarey Island!
Tim Stewart wasn’t really meant to be part of the archaeology field trip to Crumcarey. In fact, he’d done everything in his power to avoid it. It wasn’t the promise of mud, wind and rain that put him off, though…
Tim’s more than used to island life…
But his professor really doesn’t seem to like him…
And even to his untrained eye, there’s something seriously wrong with the standing stones they’re meant to be studying!
And yet, here he is on the ferry – a last minute addition to the “party”. Still - a week outside in the fresh air has to be better than sitting in a stuffy lecture theatre… doesn’t it?
Molly Mackenzie does her best to keep on top of the chaos at Crumcarey’s Conference Centre, but it’s not easy when Joyce - her boss - is the biggest scatterbrain on the island.
The place is falling apart…
They haven’t had any guests in months…
And who wants to stay in a bunch of run-down cabins anyway?
When Joyce springs the arrival of eight archaeology students and their professor on her with less than an hour to spare, Molly shelves her daydreams of getting a new job and goes into overdrive to make the place… welcoming? Is that even possible?
With Joyce causing havoc, the professor spouting nonsense and students shivering in every corner, the scene is far from glamorous…
