Violence is his destiny...

Already sickened by the killing he had done in the name of the law, Cole Shadde is doubly shocked when he accidentally kills rancher Craw Benton during a rustling raid on Benton's stock.

Cole hands in his badge and gun to his father, Sheriff Tom Shadde. Full of remorse he goes to the Benton ranch to help the brother and sister he has orphaned.

However, violence soon re-appears and Cole has to buckle on his six-gun again. Filled with action and excitement this is a novel to grip the reader from the first to the last.
