The jilted Highlander:

When Highland warrior, Ethan MacKeefe approaches Blackbriar Castle looking for his dog, he is faced with a ghost from his past. In the tower window he sees the face of Alana, his betrothed who left him at the altar and disappeared years ago. His heart is heavy. But for years she's been held captive along with her siblings residing in a haunted castle on a remote island where no one can find them. At her captor's insistence, Alana has kept alive the story of a woman being murdered and thrown from the tower window, by pretending to be the ghost. Then to her surprise, one day Ethan MacKeefe shows up at the castle door. She wants nothing more than to run to him and bury herself in his strong embrace. But many things have happened through the years and seeing Ethan again can only mean danger for him and his clan. There are too many answers he is going to want, and unfortunately she can't give them to him.

With so much at stake, can she continue to live without him even though her heart is broken and she harbors dark secrets that can never be revealed?
