The world was burning
and the North was about to break.
Now the Baltic would decide Europe'''s fate.
World War III had erupted across Europe and Asia. The fragile illusion of restraint had been shattered as missiles, drones, armor, and airborne troops surged forward in coordinated fury.
In Estonia, EDEP forces launched a lightning offensive across the eastern frontier, determined to return the Baltic States to their former Soviet status before NATO could react. From Narva to Tartu, Estonian combat brigades, territorial defense forces, and long-range rocket units fought desperately to slow an enemy built for speed, mass, and annihilation.
Reinforcing them were American Sky Soldiers of the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade. Outnumbered and outgunned, these airborne infantry and artillery units were thrown into a desperate fight where every road, bridge, forest belt, and village could determine whether Estonia survived.
Could Estonia hold long enough for NATO to respond?
Farther north, Finland faced its reckoning.
The Russian 6th Combined Arms Army surged toward Kotka, seeking to break the Finnish defense and settle the unfinished business of the Winter War once and for all. Standing in its path were the soldiers of Finland’s Karelia Brigade and the U.S. 10th Mountain Division, fighting through forests, lakes, wet roads, and shattered towns where Sisu would be tested against steel.
Would Finland stop Russia before the road to Helsinki opened?
And how much could the free world lose in the North before the Alliance itself began to crack?
Find out in The Baltic Breach: Battle for the North, the fifth explosive installment of the A World on Fire seriesa chillingly plausible military technothriller where history, geography, technology, and human will collide on NATO’s northern frontier.
