A flaming taco took his eye out. It was a good story—funny, and true. But telling the sexy little bombshell who walked into the Road Reapers his story wasn’t something he wanted to do. He had a feeling that she’d take his story, get a good laugh from it, and take off, never to be seen again. And that worried him because Cyclops could tell that she was in trouble. The fear in her eyes gave her away, but he didn’t do damsels in distress.
Trixie was running. Hell, she was always running. But as long as her father’s men were chasing her, she had to stay on the move. Slowing down would get her caught, and her father’s men would take great joy in dragging her ass back to him. The last thing she wanted was to be locked away again while her father tried to figure out what to do with her.
