Haunted by the past, driven by revenge. Book 1 Whippersnapper. How far would you go to find your missing sister?
A normal day in the park turns into a nerve-shredding nightmare for eleven-year-old Marnie Hammond when she finds herself in a desperate chase to stop the 'bad man' from abducting Abby.
Fifteen years later, Marnie is a Detective Sergeant, but the memory of her missing sister still haunts her dreams.
When it becomes clear that something monstrous is stalking the streets of Kirkhead, DS Hammond has her hands full, and after remains are discovered buried in dense woodland, Marnie fears the worst. But this is only the start of a nightmare that will unearth more bones, more victims and the terror that Abby might be among the dead.
To stop the maniac Marnie knows she must break the rules, but when the twisted killer turns his attention on her it becomes a fight not only for the truth but for her sanity and her survival.

Book 2 Rain of Souls. When the mutilated remains of local hard man, Tam Whitlow, are found tied to a chair, in a dilapidated building, Marnie Hammond and the team believe the murder could be gang-related. Whitlow worked for Jimmy Rae, a man who hides behind the facade of local businessman but whose empire has been built on fear and extortion. However, it appears that someone is trying to take over from Rae, someone who is willing to commit horrific killings to achieve their goal. Meanwhile, Tom Conway is looking for his oldest friend, John Hall, who is missing along with his young daughter, Rowan. As Conway starts to ask questions he finds himself in grave danger. Is there a link between the missing man and the spate of murders? Will Tom or Marnie discover the truth before it is too late? As the body count rises, Marnie realises that there is someone in the shadows, someone who will never rest until they have had their revenge.

Book 3. For Marnie Hammond the fact that Clarissa Wold is in hospital under guard is a blessing. At last Wold will be held accountable for the crimes she committed with her monstrous brother, sickening crimes spanning over twenty years and leaving nothing but the bones and skulls of the innocent behind.
Wold holds the key to what happened to Marnie's younger sister sixteen years earlier, and she is determined to get to the truth no matter what the cost.
Though on one blood-drenched night all that will change, leaving Marnie in a world of turmoil as she realises that there are others out there in the shadows who want to silence Wold permanently before she reveals her sickening secrets.
Suddenly, Marnie is plummeted into the depths of despair when she realises that finding out what happened to Abby is going to be harder than she could ever have imagined.
To make matters worse she is being questioned about her actions, and, as she fights her way to the truth, she becomes convinced that there are those in the force who want to end her career once and for all.
Though she soon comes to realise that losing her job is the least of her problems, when someone emerges from the shadows, a man with ice-cold blue eyes and a shock of white hair, a man whose reputation precedes him, a stone-cold killer who offers to help Marnie.
In the crucible of hate and madness that follows, she must decide which way to turn, can she trust a known killer, a ghost who kills with impunity, or will she follow the solitary path with enemies closing in on all sides?
