Alasdair studied at the University of Cambridge, leaving with a BA in Natural Sciences and anMSci in Experimental and Theoretical Physics. His masters options included gravitational astrophysics, planetary geophysics, remote sensing and high resolution electron microscopy. He went on to earn a PGCE specialising in Science and Physics from the University of Bangor.
He has been climbing, mountaineering, caving, white-water kayaking and skiing as long as he can remember. Growing up, he spent most of my spare time in the hills. Recently, he's been spending more time sea kayaking and swimming, and has got into trail running.
