Andrew Murray Scott was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and is presently based at Broughty Ferry where he lives with his wife Frances.He graduated with an MA Honours degree in English & Modern History (first class) and at the age of 44, his first novel, Tumulus, won the inaugural Dundee Book Prize in 1999.
