Death on the 10th Floor

(2026)
(A book in the Liberty Village Murder Mystery series)
A Story by

Sasha Lamb is 16, homeless, and on the run, after witnessing a murder on the 10th floor of The Belair, a posh midtown Toronto hotel.

One day she's struggling to balance high school with a job in the kitchen at The Belair, not to mention finding a safe place to sleep.

The next, Constable Mike Lyons is collecting her from English class and showing her into an interview room at 53 Division. Lyons is friendly but detectives have her lined up as the killer, not a witness.

Her dream of getting into university is starting to fade, even though she keeps a screenshot of her bank balance on the lockscreen of her phone.

Her best friend Marissa, and Edie, a lonely octogenarian and new-found friend, hold the keys to her future.

But there's just the tiny matter of that murder victim…

Death On The 10th Floor is a prequel novella introducing the new Liberty Village Murder Mysteries series.
