Calamity At the Continental Club

The Mayflower Society's annual meeting is at Washington DC's elite gathering place, the Continental Club. That means Kit Marshall's future in-laws, Buffy and Winston Hollingsworth, are coming to visit. Buffy wants Kit to commit to a high society wedding at the club, but Kit is uncomfortable with Buffy and Winston's crowd. An unexpected reprieve comes -- in the form of murder -- when Kit finds the corpse of the Mayflower Society's leader on her morning jog.
