Jess was asked to lead a backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail in the California Sierra. She runs into trouble with kidnappers, but has help from good friends and a mystical entity. Her high-country adventures are dangerous, but beautiful with glacial lakes and snow-covered peaks. She loves the trails, rescues the girls, and keeps the JMT safe for us to enjoy this summer.
