An ancient legend tells of a pirate ship carrying a fortune in Spanish doubloons that once sank off the coast of Shipwreck Point.
While the residents of the town, including lawyer Titus Strong, mostly think it’s just a story, every once in a while the legend surfaces in some way or other, bringing hordes of outside treasure hunters who are sure they’ll be the one to find the gold. When the professor is found murdered, Slater is the primary suspect. But Titus doesn’t believe he did it.
Can Titus Strong prove him innocent?
And will the pirate treasure finally be found?
