From the dust jacket, "The eighteen stories in this volume run the gamut of supernatural fantasy. There is horror, stark terror, mystic adventure and fragile beauty--all the overtones and undertones that go into weaving the eerie realms of the imagination." Snow wrote tales with unearthly atmosphere but a bit light on plot. Ray Bradbury agree to write a foreward to this book, but he withdrew. Some of these stories appear in the legendary WEIRD TALES pulp.
