When Zero wakes up on an alien planet populated by a horrifying succession of nightmare creatures all hungry for his mind and flesh, his situation is simple. Fight them or die. But the greatest enemy of all is human: a man transformed by the roving mutagenic force dubbed the Current into a repulsive force of evil, dedicated to changing all unaltered humans into monstrous mutations of their former selves. Zero is forced to embark on a desperate quest which will bring him face to face with the builder of this warped new world - and with his own self.
