The Terror
Someone is detonating bombs in the city of Kelowna. There appears to be no MO, which has baffled investigators. Not knowing where the next explosive will be planted and how many more will people will die, the authorities turn to Sarah Roberts.
On Sarah's last trip to Kelowna, she antagonized a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who was later murdered. There's a certain element on the force that doesn't want any help from Sarah.
Sarah comes anyway, struggling to balance what her sister tells her and what she's capable of doing when several officers stand in the way of progress. After a bold attempt on her life, Sarah is forced to work alone to stop the homegrown terrorist striking fear in the citizens of Kelowna.
What she can't account for is the motive behind the bombings and the sinister - even demonic - man who is willing to stop at nothing to get what he wants. And what he wants is a place beside the Devil himself. Lucifer is his master on earth as he is in Hell.
When Vivian is blocked from Sarah's consciousness - fresh off their recent Pact in Denmark where Sarah understood they'd be closer than ever before - Sarah endeavors to understand who from the Other Side is capable of such a thing. Not much scares Sarah Roberts anymore, but when she discovers the truth behind what really happened when she and Vivian made their pact, she's frightened to the core.
