The story of a herd of wild ponies, harried from their tranquil grazing ground on the flanks of the Dragon Mountain, on one side b man blasting rocks to make a new road along the lochside, and on the other by a forest fire. Petrified, panic stricken and forced to find a fresh place of safety, they begin their long trek over the steep peak to reach the green meadows in the far valley.
