She was supposed to spend Christmas with Grandma... instead, she's snowed in with the wolf.

Scarlett:

Grandma needs her Christmas treats, and I'm determined to deliver them.

Before I leave, she gives me one final warning.

Be careful of the dangerous beasts lurking in the mountains.

I laugh it off until my car slides off the road and lands right in the yard of a massive, scarred mountain man.

Boris looks like the kind of wolf Grandma warned me about.

And when he looks at me, his hunger-filled eyes make me feel like he wants to eat me up in one bite.

Now a Christmas Eve snowstorm has me trapped in his cabin with a man I can't stop staring at.

And somehow, I'm starting to wonder if getting stuck with the wolf is exactly where I belong.

Boris:

People take one look at my scars and decide they want nothing to do with me, and I've gotten used to it. I prefer my quiet life in the mountains anyway.

Then Scarlett walks into my cabin, sweet and innocent, looking at me like she wouldn't mind climbing into my lap for a closer look. One look at her, and suddenly I can't imagine sending her away.

I want her close, in my bed, under my protection, and the longer she's here, the harder it is to hold myself back. She's bringing out a possessive side of me I don't know if I can—or want to—control.

She may think the storm is what has her trapped in my cabin, but she's wrong.

I'm not letting my little Red leave.
