Snowed Curves

(2026)
(The first book in the Mountain Men of Wolfjaw Falls series)
A Story by

I wasn't supposed to survive the mountain. I sure as hell wasn't supposed to want to stay.

One bad turn in a whiteout, and I wake up half-frozen in a stranger's bed, wrapped in his arms because skin-to-skin is the only thing keeping me alive. He doesn't ask my name. He just looks at me like he already knows I'm trouble — and like he'll handle it anyway.

Calder is all silence and shoulders and scarred-up hands. Ex-military. Raising a little girl who isn't his by blood but is his in every way that counts. He shouldn't look at a woman like me — too soft, too curvy, too obviously running — the way he does. Like I'm something he's deciding to keep.

And the worst part is, I'm not sure I want to stop him.

I came up this mountain to disappear. Not to be wanted. Not to be seen.

But the man I left behind isn't done with me. And when he comes for me, he's going to find out exactly what Calder is capable of when he's protecting what's his.

The snow will melt eventually.

The question is what's left of me when it does.
