Unjustly fired from his job, Mike O’Grady has nothing but empty pockets and a whole boatload of desperation. He buys a classy black dress shirt at a thrift shop, thinking it will help him pull off his next interview. Turns out, the shirt helps him pull off a lot more.
He likes the way the shirt feels and the confidence it lends him. But it’s not till he’s committed his first murder that he discovers the shirt used to belong to a notorious, now-deceased serial killer. And the murder Mike’s committed exactly follows the dead killer’s methodology.
As Mike continues killing, his ultimate intended victim being the man who fired him, he begins to wonder. Has he acquired the shirt, or has it acquired him? Perhaps in truth, the original owner of the garment isn’t so far away after all
